1. Click on account in the bar above. 2. Click on "Account settings" (or just go to https://register.facebook.com/editaccount.php ) 3. look for the "Download your information" section. 4. click on "learn more" 5. click on "Download" 6. wait for the email from Facebook. 7. download the zip file with your data. 8. PROFIT!! Note: you can't download information by other people (including their email addresses). There are some workarounds but personally, I'm not that fussed about this limitation. Getting *my* data out of facebook is much more important. Thanks facebook! Vodafone Ireland have a known issue with their network configuration that impacts access to reddit.com for their customers. This issue has existed for at least 3 years. APN which blocks access to reddit.com: APN = live.vodafone.com One can workaround the issue by creating a new APN config for the affected SIM. The config should be: name = hs.vodafone.ie APN = hs.vodafone.ie username = vodafone password = Vodafone This information was originally posted on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/s/tn7Rrr8WxE) but obviously it's difficult to access when reddit it blocked. 🙃
So we've been here for just over a week and having loads of fun... so far we've walked a fair bit, snowboarded, skied, bathed in thermal pools and gone swimming/snorkeling with seals. So since I last wrote, we spent 1 more day in Christchurch before heading to the mountains to get some late season snowboarding in. sinéad gave up on the snowboarding after the first day and found she was much better on skis! The last day we were up the mountains, the weather closed in and it snowed like crazy... was amazing and slightly scary trying to get down the mountain on a 30 seater bus (think the worst irish dirt road covered in snow with a 30 degree incline). fun! Yesterday saw us drop Oisín's 4x4 back to Christchurch and pick up our rental car. We drove up to Hanmer Springs and tried out the thermal springs - they were wonderful. pools of 38-41 degree pools filled with various minerals (we didn't particularly like the smell of the sulphur pools).
